How big a drywall job do you take on?
Anything from a single patch to a whole room. On the small end, that’s holes from doorknobs and wall anchors, cracks along seams and over doorways, dents, popped nails and old patches that still show through the paint.
On the large end, we hang drywall for full rooms and new walls, along with feature walls.
Can you match the texture on my walls and ceiling?
Yes. We match ceiling and wall textures, so a patch on a textured ceiling doesn’t show up as a smooth square. The same goes for a new wall that has to sit beside old ones. Point out the texture at the estimate visit, and we’ll plan the match before any drywall comes out.
What should I do about wet or water-damaged drywall?
Fix the leak first, then deal with the wall soon. UF experts say mold can grow on almost any material that stays wet for more than about two days, and UF/IFAS Extension in Sarasota County notes that most molds do best above 60% relative humidity.
Drywall that stayed wet, sags or feels soft has to be cut out and replaced. Show us the damage at the estimate visit and we’ll tell you how much needs to come out.
What happens after the patch?
The repair is textured to match and sanded so it’s ready for paint. Then we paint the repaired wall, or the whole room if you’d like a fresh color. Our interior painting service covers walls, ceilings and trim, and your furniture and floors are covered while we work.
If the baseboards or door trim took damage along with the wall, carpentry and wood restoration covers that part. We clean up at the end of every work day.
