Cabinet Refinishing in Orlando, FL
Cabinet refinishing in Orlando gives the kitchen cabinets you already have a new color and finish. Depending on the kitchen, we take the doors and drawer fronts off and spray them, or paint the cabinets right where they hang.
Are my cabinets a good fit for refinishing?
Refinishing changes the surface of a cabinet. It suits sturdy boxes and doors whose finish has worn thin around the handles, yellowed with age or gone out of style. Doors that hang straight and drawers that slide well are good signs.
It won’t fix a cabinet box that swelled from a leak under the sink, or a door that has split. Those need a repair first. Small wood repairs are part of our carpentry and wood restoration work, so ask about them at the estimate.
Do you spray the doors or paint the cabinets in place?
We do both, and the kitchen decides. With the first method, the doors and drawer fronts come off the boxes, get sprayed and go back on when they’re done. With the second, the cabinets are painted right where they hang.
We’ll recommend one at the estimate visit, once we’ve seen your cabinets, the room around them and how you use it. If you have a preference, tell us, and we’ll talk it through.
How do you prepare cabinets for a new finish?
Kitchen cabinets collect grease and cooking residue, most of all near the stove, so every cabinet job starts with surface prep. We cover your floors and the surfaces around the cabinets before we begin, and we clean up at the end of every work day.
Your kitchen is a room you use every day, so tell us at the estimate visit what you’ll need to reach while we work.
How is a cabinet refinishing estimate put together?
We look at your cabinets in person and talk through the method, the color and the finish with you. Then you get a free, detailed written estimate. The price is fair, there are no surprise fees at the end, and the work is backed by our 2-year warranty.
Painting the rest of the kitchen too? Interior painting covers the walls, ceilings and trim around the cabinets. To book a look at your kitchen, call or text (407) 450-2020. Our Orlando page and the service areas page show where we work.
